How to Become an Eligible Creator

Thank you for your interest in becoming an OCUS creator!

To start accepting projects, you must complete three required steps to finalize your enrollment on the platform. This process includes identity verification and skill validation to ensure you are eligible and ready to receive assignments.

1. Email Verification

  • After registering, check your inbox for a confirmation email.
  • Click “Verify my address” to activate your account.
  • If you did not receive the email, you can resend it by logging into your account and going to Settings (left-hand menu) → User Account → Resend Verification Email.

Validation time: Instant once you click the ‘link.

2. ID Verification

  • Upload a clear photo of a valid government-issued ID (Identity Card, Driver’s License, or Passport) by going to Settings → User Account → Verify Your Profile.
  • A pop-up window will appear where you can drag and drop the front and back of your document. Once uploaded, click “Verify My Profile.”
  • After approval, a green Verified badge will appear on your profile.
  • This step is mandatory for security, compliance, and client trust.

For more details, please refer to the dedicated article about legal document verification.

Validation time: On average, 4 business days.

3. Skills & Portfolio Submission

  • Log in to your OCUS account.
  • Go to Settings (left-hand menu) → Skills.
  • Select the skill you would like to be assessed in (for example: Real Estate, Food, Portrait) and click the “+” icon.
  • Upload at least five recent images that best represent your work in that category by dragging and dropping them into the platform.
  • For each image, provide a detailed description that explains the technical aspects of your work, such as lighting setup, equipment used, camera settings, and shooting context.
  • Click “Submit Selection” once you are finished.

⚠️ Important: This step is essential. Your descriptions are carefully reviewed by our Quality Team and play a major role in evaluating your skill level. Take the time to write them thoroughly and accurately. Submissions with insufficient or vague details may be rejected.

At the moment, food Photography is the category with the highest demand. If you do not yet have experience in food projects but are interested in this field, you may request a Food Trial Assignment, which can be completed at home to demonstrate your skills.

All submitted materials are reviewed by the OCUS team to assess your technical level and expertise. Reviews are typically completed within 24 business hours after submission.

Validation time: On average, 1 business day.

Please keep in mind that you will only be to see and accept photoshoots once all three requirements are approved.
