When you have claimed a Project and scheduled it, you should have three new buttons available on the Project page:
- Reschedule Project - to reschedule the Project
- Merchant Refusal - to let us know the Merchant doesn’t want to do the Project anymore
- Drop Project - to unassign yourself from the Project
General rules
- You cannot reschedule a Project without having agreed on a new date with the Merchant beforehand
- You cannot reschedule a Project to a date farther than 14 days in the future
- You cannot reschedule a Project more than two times
- Every rescheduling automatically triggers a request for confirmation to the Merchant that can lead to a dispute.
- In case of dispute, the Project will be on hold until our team has reviewed the situation.
Rescheduling a Project
When you claim a Project and schedule it, you can reschedule it from the Project page, by hitting “Reschedule Project”.
We will require few informations from you:
1. Who is at the initiative of the rescheduling?
- Pick “I need to reschedule” when you are the one that won’t be able to proceed with the original scheduled date
- Pick “Merchant needs to reschedule” when the Merchant called you beforehand and asked you to reschedule the original scheduled date.
2. What is the reason for this rescheduling?
- Pick the reason that match the situation
3. Upload a proof of the agreement with the Merchant
- Either screenshot a text message or a phone call between the Merchant and you so that, in case of dispute, we’ll have a proof that you agreed to the rescheduling beforehand
4. Tick the checkbox to confirm that the Merchant is aware of the rescheduling you are making.
- Note that we will ask them for a confirmation
In the case where the rescheduling happened less than 12 hours before the original scheduled time, you will be able to ask for Cancellation fees by ticking the corresponding checkbox, that will only be displayed in these conditions.
Note that every request for cancellation fees is reviewed by our team.
Once this information has been provided, you will be able to select a new date and time for the Project.
Specific Cases
Projects with Preferred Dates
When you claim a Project with preferred dates, you commit yourself to performing it on the date you chose. Hence, you won’t be able to reschedule it except if it is a direct request from the Merchant.
If you still need to reschedule it because something came up on your side, follow the same process as a regular rescheduling and confirm your rescheduling request.
Our team will review your request and either allow it or unassign you from the Project.
Third Rescheduling
If you already rescheduled a Project twice and need to do it a third time, you won’t be able to go through with it.
Indeed, after inputting the different information we require and confirming your rescheduling request, the Project will be put on hold until our team reviews your request.
Our team will review your request and either allow it or unassign you from the Project.
Merchant Refusal
We know that, sometimes, the Merchant can refuse to do the Project, even when they initially agreed on a date with you. If that happens to you, you should use the “Merchant Refusal” button, below “Reschedule Project”.
If the Merchant tells you that they don’t want to do the Project anymore less than 12 hours before the initially agreed time, you will be able to ask for late cancellation fees.
To do so, just tick the corresponding box in the modal that will open after you hit “Merchant Refusal”, the same way you do for late rescheduling.
You will automatically be unassigned and the Project won’t be available to any other Creator.
Dropping a Project
If you need to be unassigned from a Project, you need to use the “Drop Project” button, below Reschedule Project. Note that dropping Project puts us in a difficult situation with our clients and that it may negatively affect your visibility on future projects.
If you still want to drop the Project, input the reason, tick the box and confirm. You will automatically be unassigned the Project will be available to any other Creator.
