Some projects do not have a preferred date yet. These assignments are marked with a time icon and labelled “Not set yet.”
To claim a project, click on the shoot you’re interested in. Then select "Click View details."
If you are ready to contact the restaurant immediately, click “Reveal number” to access the contact details.
⚠️ Important: Only reveal the number if you are ready to call right away.
Call the restaurant to agree on a session date.
- If a date is confirmed → Click “I can schedule” and set the agreed date.
- If a date cannot be confirmed → Click “I cannot schedule” and select the appropriate reason.
⚠️ Important: Once the call is finished, you must update the project immediately. Otherwise, the project may become available to another creator.
If you cannot schedule the project
After revealing the number and contacting the restaurant, it may not always be possible to confirm a session date. In this case, you must select “I cannot schedule the project” and choose the appropriate reason.
⚠️ Important: This step is mandatory. If you skip it, the restaurant may continue receiving repeated calls from different creators, creating a negative experience for both the client and the creator community.
Here’s what each option means:
- The contact refuses the project → The restaurant clearly stated they are not interested in proceeding with the session.
- The contact would like to be called again later → They could not confirm immediately and asked to be contacted again (for example, the manager is unavailable or service hours are busy).
- Wrong number → The phone number provided does not belong to the restaurant.
- Didn’t pick up / Answering machine → You reached voicemail and were unable to speak to anyone.
- Not compatible schedule → You spoke with the restaurant, but no mutually available date could be agreed upon.
💡 Tip: Use the comment field to provide additional details, such as the name of the person you spoke with, the reason provided (for example, “Manager only available on Fridays”), and any follow-up instructions (for example, “Call back tomorrow at 3 PM”).
Why It Matters
Logging the outcome immediately ensures that:
- OCUS and the client remain informed so the appropriate next steps can be taken quickly.
- Restaurants are not contacted repeatedly for the same project.
- No project remains pending without action.
- You demonstrate professionalism and reliability in the way you manage your assignments.
