Labelling Your Images

After uploading your media, the next step is to label all single-subject images before you can confirm your upload.

Labels define the content of each image and ensure a smooth review by our Quality Team.

Depending on the project, there are two possible scenarios:

  • A predefined list of labels is provided by the client.
  • No predefined list is provided.

In both cases, every single-subject image must have a label.

Case 1: When a List of Labels Is Provided

Some projects include a ready-made list of items to be used as labels. To access:

  1. Start typing in the label field. The system will display suggestions using auto-complete.
  2. Select the correct item from the list to apply it to your image.

Adding a Custom Label

If the correct option does not appear, you may create a custom label by typing it in and clicking “Add.”

Custom labels are clearly displayed in the system:

⚠️ Important: Always prioritize using the provided labels whenever possible. Custom labels should remain an exception. Frequent or unnecessary use of custom labels will be reviewed by our Quality Team.

Case 2: When No Labels Are Provided

If the project does not include a predefined list, you must create all labels manually.

Ensure your labels are accurate, clear, and descriptive of the subject.

Each label must describe the dish exactly as it appears on the restaurant’s menu.

Accurate and consistent labelling ensures smooth validation by our Quality Team and correct display on client platforms.

⚠️ Important: you will not be able to confirm your upload until all required labels have been completed.

Some Examples of Labels

Acceptable labels:

  • “Pad Thai with shrimp”

  • “Avocado rolls”

  • “Caesar salad”

  • “Margherita pizza”

  • “Chocolate lava cake”

Unacceptable labels:

  • “Food” / “Dish” / “Meal”

  • “PadthaiShrimpFinal1”

  • “#BestBurgerEver 🍔🍟”

  • “Burger – side view” (should not include camera angle)

💡 Tips

  • f the project description includes a menu link, use it to identify the correct dish names.
  •  If no menu link is provided, write down the dish names during your session. This will help ensure your labels match the restaurant’s menu accurately when uploading your media.
