Once your project is complete, the next step is to upload your media to OCUS. This ensures your work is delivered to the client quickly and efficiently.
Uploading Your Photos
-
On your project page, click "Start Uploading" to access the upload interface.
- If your project includes different types of visuals, you will see separate upload zones. Make sure you place your files in the correct drop zone (for example: Single Dish vs. Dish Composition)
- Choose how to upload:
- Drag and drop your files directly into the drop zone.
- Or click the drop zone to browse files on your device.
- On the right, you’ll see a counter showing:
- The total number of expected visuals.
-
The number of visuals you have already uploaded.
💡 Tip: If you are unable to upload the full set of visuals, you may still proceed with the submission. However, you must provide a detailed explanation in the comment box explaining why images are missing. Our Quality Team will review your note and provide any further steps.
Labelling Your Photos
Once your files are uploaded, you must label your images.
Every image must have a label before you can confirm your upload.
A label is a short, clear description of the image content as it appears on the restaurant’s menu (for example: pad thai, avocado rolls).
Please refer to our detailed guide to image labelling for additional instructions by clicking here.
💡 Tip: You do not need to rename your files before uploading. Labelling within the platform is sufficient.
Best Practices
✅ Do:
- Upload your photos before midnight on the day of the project.
- Ensure the number of uploaded visuals matches the expected quantity for each category.
- Add accurate and clear labels to all required images.
- Leave a detailed comment if any images or videos are missing. Your explanation must include:
- The reason the visuals are missing.
- The name and contact details of the person who refused additional photos.
❌ Don’t:
- Upload photos after the deadline. Late delivery negatively impacts your reliability rating, may reduce your priority for future projects, and can result in payment delays.
- Add incorrect or random labels. This will require corrections and delay the validation of your project.
- Skip the explanation for missing visuals. If required images are missing and no detailed comment is provided (including the reason and the name and contact details of the person who refused additional photos), your submission will be flagged and may be rejected.
