Professional Conduct Guidelines For Creators

At OCUS, we connect photographers with top brands while delivering a consistent, high-quality experience. As a partner Image Creator, your professionalism plays a key role in client satisfaction and directly impacts future collaboration opportunities.

The following guidelines outline our expectations to ensure smooth project execution and a positive experience for clients, the OCUS team, and yourself.

Accepting and Scheduling Projects

Do not accept a project with the intention of saving it for later.

If you assign yourself to a project by mistake, unassign yourself as soon as possible and contact OCUS Support immediately.

Assignments with Proposed Date(s)

Check your availability carefully before accepting a project. Only accept assignments you are certain you can complete at the scheduled date and time.

It is not necessary to confirm the proposed date with the on-site contact unless specifically required on the day of the projct.

Do not accept projects with proposed dates with the intention of rescheduling them to fit your calendar.

Assignments Requiring Scheduling

When scheduling is required, contact the on-site contact as early as possible on the day you assign yourself to the project.

If scheduling is blocked or impossible, inform OCUS the same day using the tools available directly from your session.

Rescheduling and Cancellations

Cancellations should occur only when absolutely necessary. Provide at least 48 hours’ notice when cancelling, except in cases of unforeseen circumstances.

Always inform OCUS and the on-site contact as soon as possible and clearly explain the reason for the cancellation.

Depending on the project conditions, OCUS may offer the project to another Creator on the same date or propose a new schedule.

Following Guidelines and Delivering Media

Carefully read the project guidelines before thedate and follow them strictly on site. If you have any questions or concerns, contact OCUS Support before the scheduled date.

Respect the client’s order. The package, confirmed date, and project location must not be modified without prior approval from OCUS.

Upload all media before midnight on the day of your session. If you experience any issues or are unable to upload your media on time, contact OCUS Support immediately.

Upload only authentic media captured during the assigned project. The following practices are strictly prohibited:

  • Reusing images from another restaurant or a previous assignment
  • Using AI-generated or AI-altered media (including AI retouching that alters reality)
  • Uploading media created by another photographer or third party

Quality is essential. If issues are reported (missing media, quality concerns, incorrect naming, etc.), you are expected to make the necessary corrections and/or reschedule the session within 24 hours, with the on-site contact’s consent.

Professional Behaviour

Be punctual. Arrive on time and respect the client’s schedule.

Be courteous. Treat all clients, staff, and contacts professionally and respectfully.

Respect the rules of the location and maintain client confidentiality at all times.

Complete the project personally. Delegation to third parties is not permitted.

Communication with OCUS Staff

The OCUS team consists of dedicated agents ready to assist you. Clear and courteous communication helps resolve issues more quickly and effectively.

When communicating with OCUS Support, always follow the proper process. Do not impersonate a client or attempt to bypass official procedures.

Responsibility and Continuous Improvement

Failure to comply with these guidelines may impact your eligibility for future assignments. OCUS reserves the right to take appropriate action when standards are not met.

We encourage Image Creators to communicate openly, ask questions when needed, and share feedback to help us continuously improve our service and collaboration.
